Dear Colleagues and Students of San Filippo International Primary School, Città Di Castello,

We are really proud to have very positive response from an international school and because this is the first collaboration from SDN MOJOREJO 01 that’s why we need to learn more and also need more guidance from an experienced school.

SDN Mojorejo 01 * Sekolah Dasae Negeri Mojorejo 01 * State Elementary School Mojorejo 01 is located in Junrejo District. It is part of Batu city. Batu city is mountainous city; one of popular mountains for hikers is Panderman Mountain.

In Junrejo there are about 16 State elementary schools and 1 Islamic school they are under the Ministry of education and culture, another Islamic School is under Ministry of Religion.

SDN Mojorejo 01 consists of 6 classes. 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th, 6^th and a special need students’ class. On 1^st, 2^nd, 5^th, there are two sections because the number of students are overload if they are in the same class; however there is no difference in each section.

The students are living around the school, within a range from 20 m (their home just in front of the school) to 6km. Some of them come to school on foot, some by public car and some of their parents drive them to school. We communicate with Javanese (local) language and Bahasa Indonesia. Meanwhile English is considered as foreign language.

Daily activities at school begin at 07:15 A.M and end at 15 P.M from Monday to Friday. The subjects we study at school are: Javanese, Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics, Science, Pancasila Education and Nationality, Physical Education, Social Science, and English. There are also some extracurricular: scout, Volley ball, table tennis, theater, drum band and Learning Community which consist of Students Journalism, and science club. All activities are directed to give experiences to the students. Recently I joined to ePals searching for global project; I want to motivate the students to learn English. This will give new and excited experience to the students.

In our school there are 10 classrooms, 1 canteen, 1 library, office, 1 school health unit, and 7 toilets.
